در سال 1368 به عنوان نفر اول از کالج البرز فارغ التحصیل شدند و در همان سال در دانشکده پزشکی دانشگاه تهران به عنوان دانشجوی پزشکی پذیرفته شده وادامه تحصیل دادند. در سال 1376 به عنوان دانشجوی ممتاز از دانشگاه فارغ التحصیل شدندودرسال1378 بعداز خدمت دوران مقدس سربازی دوره تخصصی چشم پزشکی را شروع نموده وبعد از آن موفق به اتمام رشته فوق تخصصی قرنیه شدند واز سال 1382 تاکنون بیش از ده ها هزار جراحی چشم را با موفقیت کامل انجام دادند وبیش از 100 مقاله علمی در زمینه چشم پزشکی و لیزیک از ایشان در معتبرترین مجلات چشم پزشکی اروپا وآمریکا به چاپ رسیده است. همچنین بیش از200 متخصص و فوق تخصص چشم را به عنوان هیات علمی تربیت کرده اند. همچنین ایشان داور معتبرترین مجلات چشم پزشکی داخل وخارج کشور می باشند و سخنرانی های متعددی در مجامع علمی چشم پزشکی داخلی و خارجی ایراد نموده اند.ایشان مبتکر چندین جراحی نوین چشم پزشکی و مخترع اولین نانو داروی چشم پزشکی درایران می باشند و هم اکنون به عنوان عضو هیات علمی رسمی گروه آموزشی چشم دانشکده پزشکی دانشگاه تهران بیمارستان فارابی مشغول تدریس دانشجویان ودستیاران تخصصی و فوق تخصصی رشته چشم پزشکی می باشند.همچنین ایشان یکی ازبالاترین شاخص های ارجاع به مقالات چشم پزشکی را درکل دنیا دارا می باشند و هم اکنون دانشیار گروه آموزشی چشم دانشگاه علوم پزشکی تهران می باشند.
